Abstract

During the twentieth century, one of the fundamental criteria in the study of the relationship between micro and macro texts was the distinction (already made by Maria Corti) between author and editorial instances, hence the differentiation between macro texts properly understood and collections of stories and prose. However, it would seem that the (by now fully) passing through the two-millennium period imposed a revision of the theoretical instruments and study models indicated as fundamental for the understanding of literary modernity. The essay addresses the problem of those hybrid literary forms, such as Questa e altre preistorie (Firenze, Le Lettere, 2008) by Francesco Pecoraro, in which the passage from one web media space (the blog) to another of the editorial tradition (the volume) has produced a sui generis work, in which the granular brevitas typical of texts born on the web is given in reading through a unitary editorial form.
